Biography:
Alan is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong academic, clinical and athletic background in sports science and rehabilitation. Having completed his undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University, a world-leading institution in the field of sport and human performance he then pursued a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where Alan deepened his understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation practices in a diverse clinical setting.
Most recently, he earned his Master’s in Physiotherapy at Leeds Beckett University, solidifying his expertise in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, and patient-centered rehabilitation. In addition, with his lifelong passion for sports, Alan has actively participated in a wide range of disciplines, including basketball, rugby, track and field, and CrossFit. This extensive athletic experience gives him a unique, practical insight into the physical demands of sport, injury mechanisms, and the rehabilitation process from both a personal and clinical perspective. With this unique combination of qualifications and experience, He brings a comprehensive approach to physiotherapy, integrating high-performance sports science principles with advanced rehabilitation strategies to bring individuals along the complex rehabilitation journey.
